Band Members

Dave has been part of the local music scene for the last 15 years gigging as a solo artist as well as the keyboard player in well known function band F2K as well as many other function acts and originals rock bands. Dave has performed with several top acts including Pop idol and X factor finalists and has appeared as part of the opening act for many top entertainers: Jim Davison and Roy Chubby Brown to name just two.

Jon started gigging in 2005 in an acoustic duo called Travellor and later played guitar in a duo with singer Olly Murs. He has gained more experience and confidence as lead singer and guitarist in current duo Johnny B Goode with HiJak's very own Steve Wilson. Jon brings his unique "English" vocals to band whilst adding a touch of humour to the HiJak set list. Jon is ginger.

Steve has just finished studying an MA in Artist and Band Management after previously completing a degree in jazz, pop and commercial music. He works as a freelance musician in Newcastle and Essex and is also a member of popular acoustic duo Johnny B. Goode with fellow HiJak member Jon.

Got my first guitar when I was 6 years old. Grew up playing in bands with my dad in pubs and clubs around London. Played in many bands over the years such as Fusaura, F2K, Anger Is a Gift. Dept in many others along the way.

My favourite artists are Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Jeff Buckley (sometimes) - but not when I've got the hump!! I also (sometimes) like a jazz band called The Fellowship - who are great for chilling out to whilst driving down the A12. I love the Dave Weckl band too - he's got rhythm!!

I came off the guitar and onto the drum stool for HiJak in 2011.

Easty joined from Rapier in which he was the lead singer and guitarist. His heavy rock background adds depth and excitement to the HiJak sound. He has experience playing with celebrities and has the musical potential of a rock god.
